I am currently completing a Bloomsbury funded Ph.D. at the UCL Institute of Education, University College London under the supervision of
Prof. Emily Farran and Prof. Michael Thomas.
My research is focused on elucidating and refining the relationship between spatial ability and success in Science, Technology,
Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects, with a particular focus on mathematics education.
I am interested in investigating methods of improving spatial ability in children and young people and exploring the knock-on effects
that this may have on maths achievement. Among other methods, I am interested in exploring the use of spatial language as one medium
through which to improve spatial ability.
